As August comes to an end, I can exhale and prepare for what’s next to come. I know with all the chaos going on in the world, I must stay strong and grounded. August has been a trying month but regardless of the detachment the end of the month is near. Below are some of the take aways I’ve learned for the month of August.
1. Accept every person , emotion, and moment as it is.
There is no need to fight what we can not control. We can not control what happens to us but we can control our reactions to any situation.
2. Change up your daily routine.
Everyday try to do something that you usually would not do. Changing up your routine can create many different joyful moments and events to occur.
3. Make decisions that contributes to your happiness.
Don’t listen to the doubters or the people who like to judge others. Don’t listen to that self doubting voice in your head that cause you negative emotion. Do what makes you happy.
4. Focus on You.
At this time nothing is more important than your health. This includes your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual health. Long story short focus on yourself.
