I’ve become more enlightened about the kind of people who are placed in your path (well mine) I always wonder why with some people I felt I had to hide certain aspects of myself. Why I felt differently or uncertain of whether or not our encounters were sincere. You start to wonder why the people who say they love you, actions don’t and won’t follow. These are the ones who say they want to see you do good, who should support you and your dreams and most importantly they should want to see you happy.
I have come to the understanding that most people surrounded in your presence will say these things but in true reality, their reality it is simply not authentic and will not be done at all or wholeheartedly.
It has taken me a while for me to truly understand this concept of why the truth seems to fail to prevail, however, after a conversation with a long time friend I finally can perceive to understand that it is all embedded in the feeling.
The feeling you get when you have encounters with the people in your life. I find the best people to be around is the people who are prepared to help you when you’re down. The ones who give you encouraging words when you don’t want them. The people who unintentionally inspire you. Surrounded yourself with people who give you hope and uplifts your spirits. I discover that the ones who are willing to take time out of their day to uplift you when you are unable to lift yourself are amazing beings to have. Bottom line is you should feel the love that someone is giving. It should never be something that you could question afterward. That’s when you know the truth is able to prevail and who is truly there for your wellbeing. Lastly, you should be giving off the same energy you wish to receive because without that it will be difficult to find authentic connections. Most wouldn’t want to be surrounded by fake love. If you feel unwelcomed around others, belittled or the topic of indecent conversations or if you get unjust feelings around certain individuals. Those are the ones that you should stay far away from. Even if you find yourself alone which has been me many times before be appreciative. I know in my times of struggle being alone wins every time than being in the presence of someone who really doesn’t have your best interest at heart. Be brave enough to live the life you desire with the people who deserve you.
