21 Again

21 again is a concept that I came up with that allows you to relive a part of your Twenties that you felt that maybe you would like to redo or didn’t live to your fullest potential. Being 21 again signifies that you are not old nor are running out of time but have been blessed and honored to see another year fall in the same single-digit. Becoming 21 again is a second chance to get things right, now that you know where you got it wrong. When I was 21 I wasn’t focused on my own thing. I was in a toxic relationship on the verge of dropping out of school and not prioritizing the woman I wanted to become. If I could go back to 2014 I would Be more focused on my writing career as well as setting myself up for a great financial future. I would have written concrete goals and everything that I truly wanted, I would have gone after it. I would’ve had my dream car. I would have been living in the luxury apartment, traveling (which I was doing), and setting up my company to endure a great future.

The concept of “21 Again” is a beautiful way to embrace the idea of renewal and second chances.

Here are some ways you can honor your very own rebirth and make the most of a fresh start:

1. Self-Reflection: Take the time to honestly reflect on your twenties. What experiences do you wish you had approached differently? Consider journaling your thoughts to clarify your feelings and intentions.

2. Set New Goals: Identify specific goals you want to achieve as you embrace this new chapter. Whether they are personal, professional, or relational, setting clear and actionable goals can help guide your journey.

3. Embrace New Experiences: Step out of your comfort zone and try things you didn’t do when you were 21. This could include traveling to new places, picking up a new hobby, or engaging in activities that excite you.

4. Reconnect with Your Passions: Rediscover interests and passions that you may have set aside. Whether it’s painting, dancing, writing, or any other form of creative expression, prioritize activities that bring you joy.

5. Cultivate Meaningful Relationships: Surround yourself with people who uplift and inspire you. Reconnect with old friends or make new connections that align with your current values and aspirations.

6. Practice Self-Care: Prioritize your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Engage in practices that nurture your mind and body, such as yoga, meditation, or spending time in nature.

7. Celebrate Your Journey: Organize a celebration or ritual to honor this rebirth. This could be a small gathering with friends, a solo retreat, or even a symbolic act like writing a letter to your younger self.

8. Learn from Mistakes: Instead of dwelling on past regrets, focus on the lessons learned. Consider keeping a list of insights gained from your experiences to remind you of how far you’ve come.

9. Stay Open-Minded: Approach this new chapter with curiosity and an open heart. Embrace the unknown and allow yourself to be surprised by the opportunities that come your way.

10. Get Creative: Visualize your goals and aspirations maybe even create a vision board. This can serve as a daily reminder of the life you wish to create and the experiences you want to embrace.

By honoring your “21 Again” journey in these ways, you can fully embrace this rebirth, allowing yourself to grow and thrive in this new chapter of your life.

Yearly Reflection

Every year I write a reflection on my new year to kind of reminisce on what I’ve been up to for the past years. life has a crazy way of getting away from you and I find by keeping these journal entries allows me to return to a state that I once was, Whether that state was full of sorrow or happiness. As I step into my 31st year, I find myself filled with an overwhelming sense of joy and gratitude. This milestone marks not just another year but a beautiful transition into a new phase of life that I am so excited to embrace. This month, I have dedicated myself to cultivating open-mindedness and spiritual growth, allowing me to explore and expand my understanding of myself and the world around me.

In this journey, I am preparing for a transformative chapter where I can fully embody my divine feminine energy. It feels empowering to acknowledge this shift, as I balance my roles as a businesswoman and a mother. Each responsibility I carry is a reminder of the honor I have to experience life in its fullest form. I truly believe I am on the right path, feeling abundant and ready to embrace all that life has to offer.

This year promises to be one of intimacy and deep spiritual reflection. I am intentionally creating space for disconnection and introspection, seeking personal growth that leads to real change and expansion within myself. As I reflect on the past year, I hold a profound respect for the girl I once was and recognize how far I have come. Each experience has shaped me, contributing to the fulfillment I feel today.

In moments of quiet reflection, I find myself filled with gratitude—not only for the beauty of nature/mother Earth, which I lovingly refer to as Gaia but also for the nurturing presence of my mother and the guiding influence of my father figure. This sense of completeness resonates deeply within me, reminding me that I am part of something greater. With an open heart and a spirit ready for transformation, I look forward to all the adventures this new chapter will bring.

This is beautiful. So insightful and wise. When I was your age I had no idea about who I was, but you know who you are and who you want to become. I’m so proud of you.
